License To Carry Application

To apply for a license to carry, you may print off the PDF file located on this page (must include both pages) or stop in the Sheriff’s Office for the application. The applicant must appear in person with a valid driver’s license or state-issued photo ID card, cash or check in the amount of $20 (no debit or credit cards), and a completed application form. Permits are usually issued the same day, depending on the Pennsylvania Instant Check System. The Sheriff’s Office hours of operation are 8am-3pm Monday through Friday.
