You mean by manually counting the words? Where is the feature? It's on Microsoft Word 2003 but not Adobe PDF.

I am on Acrobat pro and the tutorials are unhelpful, so it has been a wing it and learn. I just export to word and then insert field to count the num words/ num characters / num pages. This is for Attorney billing as we on tariff.
Wish they fix 2 things:-
Interfacte open dialogue box like Office including a side large scale preview. I have used PDF JACK and XODO, cheaper and easier to use . Atm I feel that Adobe concentrates on the design and graphics and all the other apps at the expense of the PDF app. Ordinary people by the millions use your software not all IT and tech experts if we have to run around looking to rewrite code , insert scripts etc it just defeats the purpose.
